External user settings
Access
Granting external access will allow outside users to change content for your event. If an account is compromised or hacked, this will allow nefarious users the ability to change content. Please ensure user practice good security practices when creating accounts.

The settings must be set before any external user can be created
The external users settings page allows you to configure what external users can do within the user portal.
The settings page is broken out into two tabs
- Speakers
- Exhibitors / Sponsors
Speakers
The speakers tab allows you to configure what speakers can do within the user portal.
Setting | Value | Description |

Auto provision | Yes/No | The auto provision setting will determine if a speaker can auto provision themselves on the user portal. When this setting is set to yes any speaker on the ConBop platform will be able to create an account via the user portal. |
Add files | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to upload files to the system. This can be things like presentation or documents. |
Add files to session | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to associate supporting documents to a session they are speaking at. A speaker must be associated with a session to add file to it. |
View analytics | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to view their analytic data. This will include things like visitors, visitor duration and more. |
Edit session details | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to edit the details of a session they are associated with. |
Edit session title | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to edit the title of a session they are associated with. |
Change date / time | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to change the date and time of a session they are associated with. |
Add to session | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow a speaker to associated themselves with a session, allowing them to view all sessions and 'add' themselves as a speaker. |
Use Policy | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will require the speaker to accept the user policy, this will be in addition to the ConBop policy / terms. |
Policy | Text | The policy that the user must accept to register their account |
Exhibitors / Sponsors
The exhibitor / Sponsors tab allows you to configure what exhibitor / sponsor can do within the user portal.
Setting | Value | Description |

Add files | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow an exhibitor / sponsor to upload files to the system. |
Add to session | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow an exhibitor / sponsor to associate themselves as a 'sponsor' of a session. |
View analytics | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow an exhibitor / sponsor to view their analytic data. This will include things like visitors, visitor duration, leads, chats and more |
Add item | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow an exhibitor / sponsor to add items to their profile. Items are products / goods they may wish to promote. |
Edit items | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will allow an exhibitor / sponsor to edit items associated with profile. |
Use Policy | Yes/No | This option, when set to yes will require an exhibitor / sponsor to accept the user policy, this will be in addition to the ConBop policy / terms. |
Policy | Text | The policy that the user must accept to register their account. |
